Character History:
Ashlind has been devoted to his house. It has been his pride and his joy. Even since he was a small boy learning about Nae'del, Moere and his Dakkorian history. Näür's history esentually became the Ashlind's as he internalized the history and the philosophy.
Ashlind is from an older family, Näürodar were the a few of the keepers for the Näür totems. They would Over see the health and well being of the Totems and would even see to the proper burials cremating the bodies, They even had the ashes of one of their more important Totems that they keep safe. When the elves told the Dakkorians that totem worship was not the way to go about it, that they were worshiping the messengers and not the message, The Näürodar family found a way to incorporate the previous form of worship into the now correct worship of Moere, claiming that the Totems were akin to saints or deified messengers that came to spread the word of Moere. They were still treated with reverence and respect.
Ashlind is a prodigy of this line of thought. He grew up particularly devoted to the Goddess Moere and her servants; the elves and fae. The youths unquestioning resolve of his goddess, served him well as he acted as a chaplain in the Dakkorian army for five years of his life. He is only recently come out of the Military and was on his way back to House Näür's holding in Dakkor.
